EPIC

 

 

       The movie "EPIC" is a(n) amazing movie about a teenage girl named MK, who visits her father who is obsessed over 2" tall people. MK discovers these people and transform into one of them because the queen of the forest died. The "pod" which was given to MK by the queen needs to be protected from the locus because they can destroy the forest just using that "pod."

 

       This movie took place in a Forest. There was many places the movie took place. Out in the forest, in the home tree of the "Leaf Men," the home of the "locus," and the home of MK's father. The main purpose of the film was to have the "pod " bloom and choose a new queen without having the locus capture the "pod."

 

       This film was very high quality. The graphic affects to make this movie look and feel real was amazing. Their was so much character development though out the film. You can feel the characters emotions. The music that was played through out the film told me many things. It told me when something good or bad was going to happen.

 

       Many children and young teens would love this film because it has some of everything. Drama, Romance, Death, etc. this movie was great and I recommend it to everyone.

SCARY HOUSE TEST

         On November 3, 1902 this house was on the end of a dirt road in the desert area of Arizona. It was the setting of a murder of a mother and her two children. On that day, a very tall man (looked to be around the age of 24) knocked on the door. He was asking for some food because he was on the street dying for something to eat. the mother let him in, and right as she was about to close the door their was and huge "bang" in the house. The man had a gun and fired it at the woman. her two children were upstairs when they heard the "bang." They went down stairs where there mother was dead on the ground. The man was in the corner and when he popped out, He shot his gun and also murdered the two children. He then ran out of the house. till this day we still never found this man.
ever since this murder, know one has ever entered this house.
       This house reminded me of a very unique house I saw in the Bahamas. It was very old and torn down it looked spooky even when I saw it in the day time.

My car is very unique. I had many problems when creating my car. The worst problem was I did not use the layer mask on my layers to color my car. Gamut-it's a measure of the range of colours the monitor can display. So for me to see what real colors the display is showing, it is very difficult. I did kind of enjoy this project besides the problem I had with the layers.


CRUISING MAGAZINE 

In my magazine cover design, I used many ideas of my own. Some I used off of real magazine templates used today. My magazine cover is all about cruise ships and this release is about royal Caribbean newest ship, "Quantum of the Seas." I added a few of my own touches like two different back rounds and wavy text. I think it is very creative and I hope we can do this project again.

This assignment was very interesting and very creative. I felt like I could do what ever I want with the design of my logo. My original logo was very simple but very creative. I wanted to have a giant ant in the middle and smaller ants around the bolded out words " The Marching Ants." I decided to do senior designer by just taking out all the color and just make the project black and white. Finally I did my most favorite one which was creative director. I was very inspired with the big ant in the middle so I kept that. But I changed the angle and Changed the smaller ants to look more intimidating. I did not really follow my sketches that much but some parts of my sketches did inspire me,like the big ant in the middle. The project was very fun and I hope we do something similar soon.

IRON MAN COMIC STRIP

This project was was very interesting. It was very difficult because i had to delete my back rounds cause I did not have enough time to color them. I do think that my comic is very funny tho. I did like that i was able to use Iron man for my comic. It took a while but i am finished. That is the good thing.

Eddie the donkey was a very interesting project. In the project we had to use almost every tool that we have learned to use in on assignment. It was very difficult in some parts but I just went back to the videos to help me. i enjoyed this project a lot and I hope we can do something similar in the future.

Thor The dark World

The poster that I created is very unique. I wanted Thor and Loki to "pop out" the most since the movie is called " Thor the Dark World." They are the two most important characters in the movie. I added Phil Coulson from the first "Thor" movie because I thought his character would be essential to the plot of the second film. I also added myself to the movie and call myself "Roth" which is Thor spelled backwards.  My sketch that I created before I worked on the "Imac" influenced what I wanted the poster to look like because it guided me in placing the background and the images in the right spot. I added different pictures of characters and changed the places of where they were going. All in all, this was an enjoyable project and I hope we can to something similar to this another time.

         The animal I created was an eagle. I picked that animal because it is a very beautiful and interesting. I flipped the "J" upside down to make a head, and then spread the "V" apart just a little bit to create the wings. I was very surprised about what I created. I loved the flip tool because you can flip letters and objects any way you want. I also loved how we can add a texture or picture from "google" and overlay it on top of a letter. I would like to learn how to use gradient tool and try to create more objects and design them in that form. I really enjoyed the project and look forward for more to come.
